Policy Against Harassment at ACM Activities
The open exchange of ideas is central to the Association for Computing Machinery’s mission. This requires an environment that embraces diversity and provides a safe, welcoming environment for all. The most recent policies can be found at acm.org.
Venue
This year SUI will take place at the newly renovated Hilton New Orleans St. Charles Avenue Hotel, found in the heart of historic Downtown New Orleans, LA with exciting events and memorable attractions nearby. The conference venue is conveniently located on the St. Charles streetcar line and just blocks away from the French Quarter. The Crescent City Blues and BBQ Fest takes place on during the conference dates and is just 0.15 miles (less than 250 meters) from the conference venue. As well, the conference is located nearby this year's UIST conference.
For our conference participants, 45 reservations have been made including a special conference rate of $189 per night including free WiFi for the period of October 16 through October 24. Reservations can be made until September 18, 2019.
